Detailed itinerary
Thursday
Your first day is all about taking your time to settle in. We provide transport from Athens airport or downtown Athens city centre to the villa. Upon arrival in the late afternoon, you'll be welcomed with an aperitivo and special dinner prepared by the go to supper club from Athens. Expect a modern take to Greek-based gastronomy with small fusion touches.
Friday
Friday morning you wake up to the lovely smell of coffee, roasted by a specialty coffee store in Athens. After a breakfast made up of local products, you'll be taken to an olive grove where Marianna, an incredible extra virgin olive oil sommelier will host you for a tour in her olive grove + tasting. You'll even be able to take some extra virgin olive oil bottles back home if you'd like!
In the early afternoon, you'll go from the olive grove to one of the most famous vineyards in the Nemea region. Here you'll enjoy a tour, a tasting of 6 six iconic labels (PDO wines and premium blends of indigenous and locally grown international grape varieties), and a 4 course lunch amongst the grapevines. After the transfer back to the villa and some time to relax in the pool / sea, we'll make our way to a traditional Greek taverna for a fish focused dinner.
Saturday
With a chance to do some yoga in the morning or go for a beach run on your own leisure, we start the day with some breakfast and coffee. Once all ready for the day, you'll make your way to Panos at his pistachio farm. This plot of land is incredibly rich in it being the source of all goodness that ends up in a pistachio. You'll learn about the growth cycle of the pistachio nut, as well as be treated to a sampling of how you can use pistachio in your own kitchen. A simple lunch after the pistachio farm visit sets up the rest of the afternoon.
Back at the villa, you can take some time for yourself. All to get ready for one of the guaranteed highlights of your trip. The evening consists of an open fire dinner, several courses, wine pairing and a stunning location during sunset prepared.
Sunday
Sunday you'll wake up, content and ready to take on the day. There'll be time to sleep in a bit, enjoy a nice brunch with local products at the villa and around 14.00 the transfer will come by to take you back to Athens city centre or straight to the airport if you prefer.
All meals are prepared with local ingredients sourced by local suppliers. Fruits, vegetables, and dairy are organic.
